This is still one the the best chat sites I've ever been to. I still like this chat room the most. You and your other colleagues are doing a great job. THANKS FOR WHAT YOU DO. I appreciate it very much too.

Explanations:
Font Color: (All)
(Added: 26/04/2005)

You should notice from the first time you login that almost all the chatters have their own text of font color. You can select your own too.

There are 3 ways to select a new font color;
1) type /color and the color name (eg: /color yellow)
2) click Profile in the chat and click Select Color and Save
3) if you know the color code then enter it in your Profile and Save.

Ignore/Unignore: (All)
(Added: 26/04/2005)

This is a great tool for those annoying chatter that can't leave you alone, especially in private. When you ignore a chatter you will not be able to see any messages from that person, public or private.

To ignore a chatter just type /ignore and then the nickname (eg: /ignore Nemesis)

To unignore a chatter type /unignore and the nickname (eg: /unignore Nemesis)

Images as Private Messages: (Premium)
(Added: 26/04/2005)

Premium users are allowed to send a image/picture to another user as a private message. Only the user it is send to will be able to see it.

To send a image type /imgmsg then the nickname you are going to send it to, then the URL of the image you want to send (eg: /imgmsg Nemesis http://www.imageserver.com/image.jpg)

Away Function: (All)
(Added: 01/05/2005)

It notifies all users in the current room that you are away from your computer for a while. Optionally a reason can be added. The name is then displayed in italics, strikthrough and in brackets in the user list. The user profile shows the reason, if specified. As soon as you start typing again you are shown as being back. (eg: /away making coffee)

Clear Command: (All)
(Added: 01/05/2005)

This command clears the chat messages from your screen. This can be useful if in a long chat session the chat is slowed down by too many logged messages. This will only affect you, not other users. (eg: /clear)

Refresh Command: (All)
(Added: 01/05/2005)

This refresh the user list (this is normally done automatically). (eg: /refresh)

If you need any help with any of these commands please ask one of the Admins on the chat to assist you.
